Mis manitas - My Little Hands

My Little Hands

My little hands they are so clever,
how they like to play!
One goes up, one goes down,
The other down, the other up,
Then they start again right away!

My little hands they are so clever,
how they like to play!
One opens, one shuts,
The other opens, the other shuts,
Then they start again right away!

Mis manitas

Mis manitas son traviesas, les gusta jugar!
Una sube, la otra baja,
La otra baja, la otra sube,
¡Y vuelven a comenzar!

Mis manitas son traviesas, les gusta jugar!
Una se abre, la otra cierra,
La otra cierra, la otra se abre,
¡Y vuelven a comenzar!

We found the Spanish version of this song on CantaMaestra, and loved how tricky the hand motions can be for kids. We take it nice and slow the first few times and then speed it up for a challenge! In the translation we used “clever” in place of “traviesas” which isn’t an exact equivalent but it has a better connotation than “naughty.”
